chickenman, how are ya mate. To download movies I use eMule.
I have tried torrents and kazza and Imesh. emule kills them.
I've been an emule user for about 10 years now and can highly
recommend it.

cheers mate.

I've been using limewire for years now. It's now being spawned by virus spreaders so It's becoming a hassle to download a simple music file. Can I have a link on where I can download Emule?

Mighty thanks, cheers! Wink

eMule is a paid program. I think it's emule.com. Google it. That's what I did.

As a side note, I didn't like the interface.

emule is not a paid program unless you want the pro version
but all you do to get around that is use emule to download
the pro crack.
As far as cumbersome interfaces go,,,,,I disagree entirely.
I suppose its what you get used to, as I said, Ive been
using it for about 10 years now and from day 1 its been
easily configurable and virus free. The ONLY thing Ive ever
paid for on the net is the extra feature's here. All software
and movies are entirely free of charge. Just gotta know where
to get them I suppose,,,,,,,,,I'll give ya a hint ,,,,,"emule".

cheers fellas.

When I went to install the free version it asked for a registration code. It gave a number to call, which you have to pay for, to get the code. Anyone else get that? Maybe I did download the wrong the thing.

I see. Well, I guess I'll just have to stick with the ol' limewire PRO for awhile.

Limewire basic is considered freeware, going to PRO is completely optional.

Although, due to the masses of usage of limewire, viruses and other forms of malicious programs can get around pretty easy. Confused
