I think there is a bug in my computer. It is doing weird stuff. Pop ups and crap. I ran spybot and macafee but nothing comes up.

Any suggestion on what else to do?

Try doing a couple of things - an online scan offered by some of the larger AV program providers - it will at least identify any issues present that may be getting overlooked by you r current AV program - which sometimes is a code function of some of the ware intruders.

Second option is to download a decent program that offers a basic program like AVG - after the download - go offline, disable your paid program and run the AVG to see if it finds anything.

If you are a bit technical and a DIY kind of person, the following can show you many of the common exploits against a PC...

Hijack This

You could also try adaware by lavasoft

I know that when my machine has had problems, sometimes it can hours of work to get it fixed. Good luck with it.

The only problem with Hijack This is that if you are in any way unfamiliar with a computer's startup programs, necessary files and what-not you can seriously harm your machine and a full re-install of windows may be needed. I suggest that if you want to run that program you find a forum, there's many, who specialize in this program and will be happy to help you. Wink

I think I might just go the easy but $$painful route and call the geek squad lol

Im having a few minor but annoying little problems. It would be easier to just let someone who knows what they are doing fix it.
