Is it possible to have registration emails sent to a new email address?

I have canged the email address in the configuration panel and the email change is now correct on outgoing emails. What I want is for the registration emails that I recieve to activate new accounts, to GO to that same, new email address instead of my personal email address.

Any help will be much appreciated! Smile

Please post in the proper forums. I think that's the way it's set up. Changed email addy's become the default one and override the original.

Moved to General Forum Support.

My appologies, I thought I was in the right forum. Embarassed

The new email address is not over-riding the original. New registration requests are still going to the old email address. Sad

I have searched my admin panel to find some resolution, to no avail. I have also searched the FAQ and many of the forums for some info on this issue and I cannot find anything on this. All I need is for the registration requests to be sent to the new email address.

Is there someone who can look into this or offer some assistance this issue? I can typically figure things out on my own, but I'm stumped on this one! Confused

Sounds like the Forumwise admin will have to look into this. In the meantime, it may work itself out. IE: it just takes the software a little bit of time to catch up. When he sees this thread he'll look into it for you.

Thanks! I'll keep an eye on both email accounts for new registrations for the next day or two. If it starts working correctly, I will update here.

Don't post the full emails, but do post enough information so that I can tell which email is the old one and which is the new one. This will help me see which way you are headed with the email switch.

Hi Mark -

Yeah, new registrations are still going to the old email [Hotmail] account. The new email address is the gmail address... If you can see it. If not, let me know and I'll PM it to you. Smile

New registrations are still going to the old email address. This doesn't seem to be sorting itself out. Sad

Be patient Kat - we will get it corrected ASAP, this is a large host with multiple support requests - they will all get addressed as soon as we are able to get to them.

I have updated the base email.

I assumed that the correct email was: stonehavenforums@gmail.com

Please note that the admin email you have set in the Config in your admin panel is: stonehavenforums.gmail.com

Please change it to stonehavenforums@gmail.com, if that is indeed the correct email.
