i'll try but it took me ages to work it out. the help file was useless.
first off it's corel photopaint not Draw. i'm using photopaint 9.
create new image and set dimensions to something like 468 x 60 pixels. Select movie (tick teh box). frames you can leave at 1 as the auto content is useless.
Now create ONE image in that first and only frame. Save it as a bmp not as an avi or anything else. Don't save as a .gif yet, or as an avi and move onto frame 2 - when you've finished editing that and save it it will just override teh first one. Save a Pic1 or something like that
Okay, now wipe that first image and create your second picture, and save it as Pic2. Make between 4 and 6 pics.
now come out of Corelphotopaint and reload it, selecting New Image, 468 x 60, movie, 1 frame.
go to the tool bar on teh top and click on movie. Select insert from file, and insert pic 1. Insert before frame 1 (you'll be given a little box to choose from). press okay.
Click movie again now that frame 1 has a pic, select insert frame, then insert 1 frame after frame 1 (make sure you select teh correct numbers from teh boxes).
Repeat this until you've used all your pictures, remembering to advance the numbers so that pic 2 goes in frame 2, insert 1 frame before frame 3, etc.
Okay. At the end you'll probably end up with 12 frames - most of which are useless. To find out which to keep, click Movie then Control, then Play Movie. It will just loop what you've inserted plus several blank frames. The blank frames should all hopefully be at the end of teh file so stop play, click Movie, delete frame and then select from X to Y which you want to get rid of.
To make sure you've just got pictures there, play movie again.
Problem now it goes lightning speed.
You need to insert repeat frames of each of the images.
Go to Frame 1, Movie, Insert Frame. Choose insert 3 frames, after frame 1, and click Copy Current Frame. Pic 1 should repeat for teh first 4 frames (or less if you want it faster). Pic 2 should now be frame 5. Repeat with Pic 2 (eg insert 3 frames after frame 5, Copy Current content), and continue until you've extended the duration of all your images. Adjust number of frames to regulate speed.
Now Play Movie. If you find any extraneous frames, delete them.
Then save as a .gif
Hopefully that should help you. Try this way and perhaps you'll find some better way of doing it. Like i said, it was just a long period of trial and error for me. _________________
