it looks better now that you've only got four seperate posts which include the topic 'being banned' on the front page. Not including your signature of course.

I agree with Luky on that one about the porn though. perhaps if you called it 'Banned Teens' you'd be inundated with guests.

ryan - you keep asking the same question and i've given the same advice again and again. perhaps people are frightened that it's a tad dictactorial?

take your sig for example. Why don't you remove the: no one will get baed unless they break the rules ! bit? Every user on Forumwise support is either an admin or a moderator so it's a bit unnecessary. also, why don't you try putting something on your front page which doesn't revolve around banning people? Tell people about what they'll find inside. I've no idea how many people you've banned thus far but you've got 25 regsitered users and your 4th top poster has made 1 post.
Also, your flash image of kicking someone in the head and banning them for double posting probably isn't a wise move. Forumwise regularly goes down because of engine maintenance and users (including myself) get frustrated and keep hitting the submit button, resulting in double or triple postings. Are you going to ban people for that?

Think about what you're trying to achieve with your forum, and why you want to have one - and then market that angle. don't start off by telling people what you'll do if they don't follow your ideas exactly. There are millions of free forums on the net - a 'click-thru' guest, unless attracted by your content displayed on the front page, will just 'click out' again. especially if you state implicitly that free thought is taboo.

I would have to agree with Zen there, you don't even give people any warnings for swearing on the forum, you just say don't worry about it. I have given 2 warnings out for swearing and rudeness in there posts.
