The Post Trade
A post trade is a popular way to quickly get some activity and content in a new forum. This is simply a pair of forum owners agreeing to make a few posts on each other's boards.
Why Post Trade
It's easier to attract new members to an established forum, which makes it tough for new boards, but post trades can help in more than one way. First the members and posts you get make your forum look more lived-in, and secondly while you are making your exchange posts in other forums, you can promote your board with your signature and perhaps even in an advertising forum if provided.
How To Post Trade
We've created this dedicated forum for post trades, because they are simple and effective, and hope that this forum provides a useful resource for administrators.
Here's how it works. In this forum. you make a new post giving the subject matter of your forum in the post title, and in the post include your forum URL and how many posts you are willing to make, for example 15. If another forum admin wants to take you up on your offer, then they post their URL and subject matter. When both parties have an agreement, the posts are made on each others forums, and they can agree to do more or not. Nice and simple. Forums outside of ForumWise are welcome to participate.
