Security Updates

We've made a series of changes which are designed to increase the security of the primary forum administrators account.

The primary forum admin is the admin account that founded a given forum. Secondary admins may be appointed, but they will not be able to delete any accounts. Additionally secondary admins will not be able to demote, deactivate, modify or ban (by name) the primary admin account. Moderators have similar restrictions even if they have been granted Super Moderator powers via the moderator admin panel.

Please note that we currently strongly recommend against sharing admin powers due to the potential for abuse.

The security updates are now complete, as the primary admin can not be banned by IP. In conjuction with the other updates, this means that the founding admin should always be able to access their board.
